What I’m Doing Now.
I’ve been designing mobile and web products for over 8 years. Currently, I’m a Senior Product Designer at Digital Extremes.
How It Started.
When I was in high school, I took a class called “Communication Technology” where I was first introduced to software like Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator.
This was my favourite class and where I excelled the most in school. I love visual storytelling and because of this, I decided to pursue this creative work in college.
I Was Bad…
I completed a program called “Interactive Media Design” at Fanshawe College where we learnt all about UI / UX design, full stack development, branding, graphic design, video editing, and 3D modelling through large projects with real-world clients.
But when I first joined this program, my work kinda sucked…
But I Kept Learning.
Even though I wasn’t great at design, I loved it! Throughout my time at Fanshawe College, I spent a lot of time inside and outside of school working to improve my skills.
Because of this, my final project was chosen as one of the best in the entire program and I had the opportunity to present my work to my school and local businesses.
Not only was this a great accomplishment for me, the skills I learnt to allow me to make such an improvement completely shaped my career. The ability to learn and push myself to improve is something that has propelled me throughout my whole career.
I Haven’t Worked A Day In My Life.
I’ve found a job I love and now I haven’t worked a day in my life. Creating products that empower users and solve complex problems through design is something I’ve passionate about and I’m grateful I’ve had the opportunity to work in this profession with such awesome people.
In My Spare Time,
I love creating cinematic videos and environments with tools such as Unreal Engine, Blender, Photoshop, and Adobe Substance Painter.
Other than that, you’ll find me travelling, rock climbing, gaming, or hanging out with friends!

Before handing my designs to a developer, I’ll often redline any necessary information that may help them and steer them in the right direction. If needed, I’ll also schedule a call with them to go over any specific part of the product that might be challenging to code.
